POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES


                                                     POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES

We use possessive adjectives - her, his, its, ours, yours, theirs, and my before a noun  when we own somebody/something


Positive Sentences:  he/she/it/singular noun+ is +  my/your/their/his/her/our/its + singular noun /plural noun . I am + my /your/our/their /his/her/its +singular nouns. You/we/they/plural nouns +are +plural nouns

                                
                                      He is my friend
                                      She is his classmate
                                      I am your neighbor
                                      They are   our friends
                                      It is  your car
                                      This is   her pen
                                      That is   their book
                                      The boy is  her classmate
                                      They are  our customers
                                      We are  his students
                                       The  laptop is   in my room
                                        The green box is  in that room
                                       It is   famous for its tourism


Negative Sentences:

                                         he/she/it/singular noun+ is+ not  +  my/your/their/his/her/our/its + singular noun /plural noun .   I am+ not + my /your/our/their /his/her/its +singular nouns. You/we/they/plural nouns +are+  not+plural nouns



                                     He is not  my friend
                                     They are not  our friends
                                     It is not your car
                                     This is not  her pen
                                     That is not  their book
                                     The boy is not  her classmate
                                     They are  not our customers
                                     We are not  his students
                                      The  laptop is not  in my room
