BE FORMS- AM,IS,ARE

We use ‘’ Am’’  with I to mean “ to be present’’ , ‘’Is’’ with He/She/It/Singular noun to mean “ to be present’’ and ‘’Are’’ with You/We/They/Plural noun to mean “ Something/somebody is present now.’’


Positive Sentences:  I am here now
                                 I am in London
                                 I am at home
                                 I am in office
                                 I am at my friend’s
                                
                                 He is in the room
                                 She is in her room
                                 It  is in the box
                                 Richard is in the USA
                                 Suresh is in Hyderabad
                                 Layla is in her office
                                 My wife is in the kitchen
                                 His classmate  is in the car


                                 They are here
                                 You  are in Paris
                                 We are in the pub
                                  My friends are in the shop
                                  His brothers are inside




Negative Sentences:  We have to use ‘’NOT” after  ‘’Am’’ , ‘’Is’’ , ‘’Are’’ to form negative sentences   
            I am here
                                 I am not in London now
                                 I am not  at home
                                 I am not  in office
                                 I am not  at my friend’s
                                 
                                 He is not  in the room
                                 She is not  in her room
                                 It  is not in the box
                                 Richard is not  in the USA
                                 Suresh is not  in Hyderabad
                                 Layla is not  in her office
                                 My wife is not  in the kitchen
                                 His classmate  is not  in the car
